Toxicological profile

The term 'Toxicological profile' as it applies to the area of hazardous materials can be defined as 'An ATSDR document that examines, summarizes, and interprets information about a hazardous substance to determine harmful levels of exposure and associated health effects. A toxicological profile also identifies significant gaps in knowledge on the substance and describes areas where further research is needed'.
